Info:

Palaeolithic Age: starts with the appearance of the human beings, about 5 million years ago, and ends with the start of farming.

They lived in caves and they were nomads (they didn´t have a fixed place to live, so they moved to different places to find food).  WHAT DID THEY EAT? Do you think they went to the supermarket to buy some food????

Of course not, they fished and hunted animals to eat them. Animals provided food to eat, bones for making tools and skin for clothes. Initially they ate raw food, then, they discovered the fire so they could cook.

Neolithic Age: about 10.000 years ago they started to domesticate animals. So, they were the first farmers and they ate their own animals. Also, they discovered that plants grew from seeds, so they could cultivate plants to eat them. Farmers needed to live close to the land and animals. They built the first villages to live in permanently. So, they were not nomads anymore, they were sedentary. Also, they were the first craftsmen: they made polished stone tools, cloth and pottery. They invented the wheel.

Metal Ages: about 7.000 years ago, people learned to make the first metal objects. They made weapons, swords, axes... Metals were very difficult to find, so when they found a place to find a lot of metals they lived in there. In this way, they created the first towns. They protected the town with walls. New jobs are created, such as soldiers to protect the town, traders to buy and sell metal objects and clothes...
